So, I decided to do something different for once. Have you guys ever seen that one clip where the lizard becomes anthropomorphic and sheds its skin? Well, this is that lizard. While she was just a one-off rotoscoped gag, a particular artist brought her back into the spotlight. Herny, who you might know as the person who created Jawlene, that shark girl. The internet promptly gave her a name of her own, Rita Skopt, referencing how in the original animal, Tex Avery’s Cross Country Detours, they rotoscoped what I believe is either a burlesque dancer or a stripper performing a strip tease to animate her. This is my take on her, since she was practically a one-off gag in the cartoon she was in.
