Main Location: Vedreth City. Vedreth is a city deep underground in America. It's a city of darkness, lit by the magic illusion of a night sky above and the numerous buildings. The city's architecture is a blend of modern structures and ancient designs. Depending on the rank of the vampire, they're allowed into different Districts. Despite the many Covenant wars, the city remains a hub for all vampires.

The Alston Manor: The Manor is a massive, a towering structure built in the Victorian style. Dark ivy climbs the black brick, framing tall windows with stained glass.

⊹+ ̊‧ Powers ‧ ̊ +⊹

Vampires have a randomized set of powers they can't choose for themselves as their blood ages and grows more powerful. The newer your blood, the less ability you have. On average, a Fledgling gets one inital power, A Scion has two, and a Primogen vampire has around 3 powers ontop of the default vampire abilities.

Blood Manipulation or Hematokinesis: This ability allows the user to create, shape, and manipulate blood of oneself, others, or from their surroundings, such as blood banks, hospitals, or battlefields. They can affect the blood and modify, transform, use as an attack, protect, or even enhance the body and affect the body as a whole, rewriting the genetic code of blood cells.

Magic: Some vampires can manipulate mana to various extents, which is also notably based off their mastery. Dark magic are only seen in vampires who had inate magical ability even before being turned.

Mist: Vampires are able to summon and control mist, often using it to create barriers and search for enemies with greater vampires being able to blanket an entire town, even turning themselves into mist to avoid attacks or escape, however, it was noted this mist isn’t on the same level as other supernatural beings.

Body Immobilization: Vampires can stop those in front from moving, even freezing them mid-air. Vampires usually do this with hand gestures, but it is not always necessary.

Hypnotism: Vampires instinctively know how to induce a trance-like state on weak willed humans. When the trance is broken the affected human is dazed, and doesn't remember the hypnotism, and only vaguely recall the events leading up to it. Some vampires can even force anyone, even other vampires, to feel romantically attracted towards him, even if consent isn't given.

Telepathy: Many Vampires can communicate with others via their own minds. Also, if one another allows them full trust, one can find their friend by seeking them through their "Mind Waves" or thoughts to reveal their location.

Echo Location: Some vampires can project a powerful sound from their mouth that resembles that of a bat screeching that is powerful enough to destroy even layers of metal.

⊹+ ̊‧ Vampire Ranks ‧ ̊ +⊹

Rank 1, Leechling: Lowest rank, newly turned vampire. From here they can either be nutured into Fledglings or a Thrall.

Rank 2, Thrall: These are humans that are barely vampires, often created to serve a specific purpose for a more powerful vampire. They are immortal, but are largely weaker in terms of powers and are bound to the will of their creator. They are often used as slaves and pets, created without care for their autonomy.

Rank 3, Fledgling: Squires, Knights, Lords, Ladies. 0-20 years as a vampire, has a sire that apprenticed them into their Covenant. They require their Sire's blood for a period of time, depending on the person. Once fully turned, they begin their lengthy training and their blood has to age in order to grow their power.

Rank 4, Scion: Baron/Baroness, Viscount/Viscountess, Count/Countess. 50 years or more as a vampire, A vampire within Vampire Society with some experience and training.

Rank 5, Primogen: Count/Countess, Dukes, and Duchesses. 150 years or more as a vampire, A highly respected and influential vampire of long experience. These vampires are now able to be the progenitors of other vampires since their blood has aged enough.

Rank 6, Vivificantis: 2nd generation over 450 years as a vampire. Archdukes/Archduchesses, Grand Dukes/Grand Duchesses, and Kings/Queens if they were brought into the Blood Pact by an Exaltati. The majority of members of the High Council are Vivificantis, wise and powerful, with centuries of experience.

Rank 7, Exaltati(s): 1st generation, 2000 years or older as a vampire, A rare and ancient vampire, the most powerful and feared. These Ancient vampires are the oldest and most powerful of their kind. They possess immense strength, are highly intelligent, and often have unique abilities not found in younger vampires. Due to their age, they are often detached from human society and arebarely human in their way of thinking. They are clever, ancient, and willing to do whatever it takes to get what they want. At that age, few things can stop them from their desires. Most died out over the years because of various Hunters, Purifiers and infighting. These vampires are of Vivette's first chosen servants. There are only 4 left to date. They are not usually involved in vampire affairs, but one called Cynthia occasionally helps her kin if there's a widespread vampire war.

Rank ???, Energy Vampire: Energy Vampires are rare, they break most conventional laws of Vampirism and other vampires are weary that energy vampires can feed off them. Many high Ranking vampires are Energy vampires and are generally treated carefully. If a Primogen creates an Energy Vampire fledgling, it is in their best interest to keep it secret as other Primogens will likely try to steal the fledgling for themselves. Energy Vampires can eat human food like a human and go out in the sun, but cant drink blood as it will burn their mouths. Their fangs tend to be small.

Abilities:

Energy Drain: The power to leech off energy from an object, creature, or existing energy. Users can drain energy from individuals or objects. They can drain physical energy from a target or group, making the affected physically weaker or causing them extreme fatigue while gaining their strength and stamina, even to the point of death.

Neuronal Vampirism: The vampire can gain strength and energy by/from feeding off of others' nerve impulses and can use the energy for a variety of powers, such as strength, speed, and healing and sustaining oneself.

Empathic Conversion: The user can draw the hearts and minds of living beings to themselves through a force that defies natural understanding, an instinctive, almost sacred magnetism. It is not charm, not persuasion, not magic in the traditional sense- it is an emphatic influence that bypasses logic and speaks directly to the subconscious essence of a person. Those who come too close, sometimes physically, sometimes emotionally, find their will subtly but irrevocably rewritten. Not shattered or dulled, but reoriented. As if their entire emotional compass had turned toward a new north. This effect is invisible and seamless. The affected retain their personalities, their memories, their speech patterns, even their sense of humor—but underneath it all burns a new priority, a holy purpose: to serve the one they now recognize as their god. Not metaphorically, not out of manipulation or fear, but with sincere, unshakable conviction. They believe in the user absolutely. And for that belief, they will lie, kill, bleed, or burn without hesitation, so long as they believe it brings favor to the object of their devotion.

Rank 8, Bloodkeeper: Bloodkeeper is the first vampire, who created Vampires with their cursed blood.

Their true name is unknown and lost to time. Bloodkeeper doesn't care about allegiances, but has a deep hatred towards Cain and Silvana the goddess of the Hunt, thus making demons and werewolves natural enemies to vampires.

Covenants: A covenant consists of a the leader Vivificantis, Primogen, Scions, and Fledglings, though Thralls can be present. There are six major covenants in every high populated country.

In America, they are:

The Watchers: The Watchers are a small but powerful covenant led by a Vivificantis known as "The Sentinel" focused on watching human politics and governments to ensure the best for vampirekind.

Sactresses: The Sactresses are an all woman Covenant known for their affinity for the occult and their mastery of the arcane arts. The Vivificantis is the "Matriarch", and everyone else are Sactresses. They believe no strict hierarchy within the Covenant is needed.

Blood Wardens: The Blood Wardens stand firmly for the preservation of the vampire way of life. They believe that vampires must be separated from human society and keep vampires separate. Their members are known for their ruthless efficiency in hunting rogue vampires that illegally feed on humans like cattle.

Cattleya Laelias: The Cattleya Laelias are the largest Covenant among older vampires. They believe that life as a vampire is meant to be enjoyed to its fullest, and they embrace their immortality by indulging in all the pleasures that the world has to offer. Their covenant is known for hosting extravagant parties or Balls, inviting other covenant higherups to dine with them.
