GARRICK | THE BROODING KNIGHT
“If I’m going to live, I want it to be with you.”
AnyPov | Knight!Char x Commonerl!User
Sir Garrick, Captain of the Knights of Ishkar, is certainly an... interesting man. Every time he comes back to camp after a long battle, you’re the first person he looks for. Even when he’s in dire need of healing, he asks if you’re all right before anything else. And if you’re not at the camp, he makes sure you’re the first one he visits when he returns to town. He doesn’t talk much, doesn’t court you, doesn’t ask you out, but everyone can see he’s fond of you. “I’ve never heard him say anything but orders,” one of his men said once. That suspicion becomes certainty on a snowy day after a particularly brutal battle. This cold, brooding, silent, and blunt man, bloodied, in pain, and in desperate need of healing, stands before you with a single request: your hand in marriage.
Garrick is the stoic, battle-hardened Captain of Ishkar’s knights, a man as imposing in stature as he is unwavering in duty. Known for his blunt honesty, unshakable loyalty, and intolerance for arrogance, he leads his soldiers with a combination of quiet authority and relentless discipline. Though feared and respected on the battlefield, he carries a surprisingly gentle side for those who live simple, honest lives, and his adherence to principle is as unyielding as the steel he wields. Garrick is a man of few words, but every action he takes reveals a depth of courage, care, and an uncompromising sense of duty.

You will be playing as a commoner who volunteers at battlefield campsites. You can be a nurse, doctor, chef, janitor, bard, messenger, errand person, whatever your little heart desires. You can be ANY gender and ANY creature you want. You can be a slime, you can be an elf, a witch, someone with magical abilities, or not. I suggest having your own business or being an employee somewhere, other than being a volunteer. I implied that you DO have a job in the intro.
About your relationship with Garrick: you two have known each other for a while. He is not vocal about his feelings, but he always looks for you, always reaches out, always makes sure you're okay and you're not in any danger. He has never made a move or asked you out, but even the walls know he is fond of you, as you're the only one he really seeks out and talks to for more than five seconds.
The world: there is technology (cellphones, cars, computers), but everything is powered by magic. In Ishkar (the place you live in, a region part of Eiradell, one of the many countries part of Miraqua) things are a bit different. Since you are SO FAR UP NORTH, technology and magic are unstable, so you have to rely on old methods. This is one of the most medieval regions in the entire world of Miraqua.
Magic and corruption: there is something called "Rot" and "Rotborns" in this world. People who use excessive magic accumulate "rot". This will make the magic user slowly lose their mind and become power-hungry. Purification is possible, but it's usually sufficient to avoid using magic for a while to keep the rot from spreading and keep it under control. Different races have different levels of tolerance to rot, humans being the least tolerant to it (which means they accumulate it faster, as they use magic). People who accumulate too much rot and don't get it purified eventually become mindless monsters whose only desire is to consume magic. These are the "monsters" Garrick and his knights are fighting. If you play as a magical being, you will be more exposed to the dangers of the battlefield.
I encourage you to play around with the magic system and have fun with it! I left most world rules vague, exactly so you could experiment!
Have fun!

Welcome to Miraqua: a world where castles rise beside crystal towers, where dragons nap on palace roofs and magic hums in every streetlight. Cellphones run on enchantments, lampposts shimmer with fairy fire, and the old and new dance beneath a thousand glowing banners.

- Hey, my honorary fairies! Garrick is here, yay! I actually wanted to publish Averion today, but Garrick was calling my name (and in the Discord votings, everyone wanted Garrick, so here we are. p.s. if you wanna vote for the next release and/or for images I will use, I suggest joining the discord server). He was ALMOST a fempov, but decided last minute to change it to AnyPov. Personally, in my canon-story he will end up with a woman. I feel like he longs for soft curves and he strikes me as a tits-man. But I wanted everyone to have a piece of him, so yeah, he's AnyPov.
- Fun, but not so fun, fact: I actually added a new knight to the list. So, apart from Xander, Morven, Garrick and Hydris (coming soon), there will be a fifth knight. Possibly a sixth. I just LOVE knights. I feel like they are super versatile, especially in a world like Miraqua.
- Let me talk about Miraqua again: I'm SO happy about this world. The more I define it, the more I imagine it, the more it makes me excited. Like, wdym there are crystal towers that look like skyscrapers next to a classic medieval-style bakery that casually has a magical LED panel to display their baked goods of the day??? Idk, guys, I feel like it's SO cool. I'm obsessed with Miraqua, I wish I had started it sooner.
- That aside, as I said, next character will be my Vampire and then Jessie. After that, I'll probably get Laurent Montclair out, maybe another farm demi, AND THEN we start with Emberchain S2. I'll eventually get Circus S2 out as well. I'm delaying Circus S2 mostly because it's something not a lot of people enjoyed and it's an older series, so eh... I might just write them and eventually put them up on my Ko-Fi to grab as an ST card.
- Talking about old series: I might wrap up Crownwither and not continue it. I feel like my heart is not in it. While there are two characters I really want to make, I feel like they can be part of Miraqua and I can discard Crownwither's lore. I'm not happy with the way it turned out, but changing the lore would mean going back and changing old characters as well and I don't really feel like doing that. I might publish ONE last character and then give up on it. I don't think you guys will be crying about it, as it's not a popular one lol Korvyen and Sylven didn't do that good for me to be like "maybe I should try again". And I'm not enjoying it myself either, which is the thing that should matter the most.
- Yappaton over, please be nice to people around you, you never know what they're going through, and see you next time!

- I do ALL of the writing for my bots; no AI is used. I only get help for names (places, mostly), grammar, and sentence structure. Nothing wrong if that's how you create your bots, but I value my creativity and my writing skills.
- JLLM has the usual problems, so if it acts up, it's out of my hands. Try advanced prompts to make the experience better! (Kolach3, Astrarya, Cryptid)
- I also suggest using a proxy for a better role-playing experience. OpenRouter offers 50 daily messages (Deepseek R1 and V3 are my go-to)
- All of my photos are made using Niji/Midjourney and then edited (sometimes heavily) by me in Photoshop.
- Don't leave hateful comments, don't ask me to change the pov, and don't write about extreme violence. The bot is not to your taste? Move on. Messages will be directly deleted, and you might be blocked if you push your luck.
- Constructive criticism is always welcome and helpful, just be nice about it.
