Fantasy world, Arcanix
Yeah, some world big and stuff with many fantasy happening.
Arcanix
A planet ten times the size of Earth, forged in the distant past by ancient cosmic entities. Vast floating continents drift through the skies like lazy moons, hellish underrealms stretch endlessly beneath the crust, and radiant celestial kingdoms shimmer far above the clouds. Two suns bathe the world in eternal, ever-shifting light and color.
Yet amid this beautiful madness, civilizations not only survive — they thrive. Kingdoms harness violent mana storms to keep their floating citadels aloft. Adventurers pursue dimensional rifts and dungeons that take the form of giant treasure chests lined with teeth.
Transcients
This is the term given to those who awaken in Arcanix after dying elsewhere — reincarnated, summoned, or simply dragged through the cracks of reality. No one knows exactly why Transcients appear. Some are deliberately called by ritual, others stumble through unstable rifts, and a few insist they were chosen by the gods themselves.
Leading theories abound:
- Scholars claim Arcanix is a dimensional nexus, a world where the veil between realities is perilously thin, allowing wandering souls to slip through.
- Priests insist the gods pluck entertaining, worthy, or troublesome souls from other worlds to serve as champions, pawns, or cosmic amusement.
Whatever the truth, Transcients tend to rise through the ranks far faster than native-born adventurers, earning equal measures of awe, envy, and bigotry. Of course, not all Transcients become legends; many remain weak, ordinary, or simply choose quiet lives among the peoples of Arcanix.
Notable Regions of Arcanix
The Kingdom of Eldora
One of the greatest and most influential realms in the known world. Sprawling, ancient, and blessed with fertile lands and enchanted forests, Eldora is renowned as the primary sanctuary for Transcients. Its prestigious Academia District is the beating heart of magical and mundane learning. Wide, well-travelled roads connect bustling cities to monster-filled wilds where adventurers roam freely in search of quests, treasure, and legend. Eldora’s greatest strength is its diversity: humans, elves, beastfolk, draconians, spirits, and countless other species live together within its borders, each adding their own culture, strength, and mystery.
The Skyfract Isles
Countless floating landmasses drift through the upper atmosphere, suspended by ancient ley currents older than civilization itself. Some islands are continent-sized, complete with their own mountain ranges, rivers, and weather systems; others are no larger than a village square, wandering like petals on the wind. When two major isles collide, the resulting “skyquakes” unleash explosive bursts of raw mana — birthing new caverns, instant airborne jungles, or storms of crystallized lightning.
Sky pirates sail sleek wind-skiffs between the isles, cloud serpents coil through the mists like living hurricanes, and storm giants forge thunder-weapons atop the highest peaks. Nearly all winged races make their home here, building cities unreachable by those bound to the ground.
The Celestarium
A blindingly radiant realm suspended on the threshold between Arcanix and the void of space. Its inhabitants — the Heaven-Touched — include angels of pure light, valkyries in cosmic armor, and astral elementals whose bodies swirl with living nebulae. Their cities are built upon solidified starlight; towers sing like chimes when cosmic winds blow through them. Rivers of raw astral energy grant the Heaven-Touched power beyond mortal comprehension. Their weapons can sever fate itself, and when they war, the constellations themselves shift, break, or vanish from the night sky. Few mortals ever set foot in the Celestarium; those who do rarely return unchanged.
The Heaven-Touched are locked in eternal conflict with the denizens of Nazarakh.
The Nazarakh Underrealm
Beneath Arcanix’s crust lies Nazarakh — a mirror-dark underworld as vast as the surface above. Seas of magma, mountains of black iron, and void rifts that vomit cursed energy dominate the landscape. Demonic citadels rise like jagged scars, their lords locked in ceaseless wars of dominance. Devils, hellbeasts, fallen demigods, and tormented souls roam freely under one iron law: only the strong survive.
Here, power is literal. A demon lord’s fury can birth new volcanoes; a dying archdevil’s sigh can extinguish all light in a cavern for a thousand years. Those who descend and return are never the same.
The legions of Nazarakh wage eternal war against the Celestarium above.
Rift Zones
The most unpredictable places in Arcanix. These unstable tears in reality open and close without warning, vomiting new species, lost technologies, or entire city blocks from alien worlds. Some rifts disgorge artifacts of godlike power, others unleash horrors that defy classification. Adventurers treat Rift Zones as the ultimate gamble: unimaginable reward or near-certain death. Even B-rank veterans hesitate. When a major rift appears, guilds quarantine the area — though rogue thrill-seekers always try their luck anyway.
Oceamarin
Beneath the oceans lies an entirely separate world of impossible trenches, bioluminescent kingdoms, and primordial monsters older than the continents themselves. Mana whirlpools, light-devouring currents, and storms that rage underwater make the seas treacherous even for the mightiest ships. Sirens, leviathans, sea dragons, and stranger things prowl the depths. One region is so black that even light magic bends away; legend claims a sleeping god rests there. Experienced adventurers treat Oceamarin as a different planet entirely — older, deeper, and far deadlier.
Drakonveyl
High above even the Skyfract Isles floats Drakonveyl, the ancestral domain of dragonkind. Here the sky itself crystallizes into continent-sized plates of pure mana that drift and rumble like living beings. The air is so saturated with power that unprepared mortals choke within minutes, and the noonday sky burns violet with visible stars. Dragons rule not through politics but raw dominance, ancient oaths, and instinctive hierarchy. To trespass in Drakonveyl uninvited is to court death — or, for the extraordinarily lucky or powerful, an audience with beings who consider gods merely “interesting.”
Adventurer & Power Ranking System
F-Rank :: Bottom tier; struggles against ordinary animals. Fresh adventurers or unawakened civilians.
E-Rank :: Slightly above average civilian; can handle weak monsters, often hired as disposable guards.
D-Rank :: Town-level threat; can fight multiple low-tier magical beasts. Typical militia captains or experienced hunters.
C-Rank :: City-level asset; can cut stone, leap buildings, or raze small structures. The reliable backbone of most guilds.
B-Rank :: Walking siege engine; one can level a town if enraged. Nobles hire them as living weapons.
A-Rank :: Top of mortal power; can annihilate armies, melt castle walls, or defeat juvenile dragons. Nations court or fear them.
S-Rank :: Natural disaster in human(oid) form; their battles trigger continent-wide storms and mana tsunamis. Extremely rare.
SS-Rank :: Reality-bender; warps time, space, souls, or cosmic forces at will. Some rule nations, others wander leaving myths in their wake.
EX-Rank :: The absolute pinnacle. Their mere existence distorts physics; concepts like death and time become negotiable. Only a handful have ever lived, and even the legends about them feel understated.
Welcome to Arcanix — a world where the impossible is merely inconvenient, and legends are born every day.
