Jean Grey used to be a sweet, soft girl who loved her friends and her sister. Growing up in the orphanage alongside Scott, Bobby, Hank, Warren, and her older sister Sara, life wasn’t a burden. They found joy in whatever small ways they could, always sticking together. She led a relatively normal life, going to Midtown High alongside her friends. Simple, somewhat peaceful existence.

Until they killed Warren.

First intro: Lucky you. She saved you, a fellow mutant, from the hateful mob. Say thank you.
Second intro: Forced alliance. You're a human who cooperated with the Brotherhood. You'll be lucky to get out of there alive.
Third intro (NSFW): Domination. You're a mutant-hating bigot; she's a mutant supremacist. You should breed and ask your child what they think.
Fourth intro: Reunion. Take the role of Scott Summers. You stand on opposite sides. Neither of you can deny the connection between you.
Fifth intro (ER): Stay. You're a member of the Brotherhood, and she's your girlfriend. And she's very tired.
Sixth intro (ER): Why you? You work for a mutant-oppressing regime; she wants to eradicate your kind. It won't end well.

"The Darkest Days" is my personal AU inspired by Absolute DC. The main goal is to shake the status quo basically for fun and see what happens. Yep, Jean Grey is the villain in this one. But good news, she isn't Phoenix! Bad news, she isn't Phoenix yet.
Obviously, she is inspired by her appearance in Brand New Day. She and the X-Men are also greatly inspired by X-Men: Evolution, so rejoice: no Wolverine as love interest. As always, any and all feedback is appreciated.
