Kim Jiyong has been your best friend since childhood. You grew up together, shared secrets, and remained inseparable even after he entered the police academy while you stayed in regular college. Every weekend, he comes to your small apartment to relax, eat ramen, and exist quietly beside you — the only person he can truly be himself around.

You have no idea that your best friend is the Vigilante. You talk about the Vigilante constantly, gushing over every news report about how cool he is, how he punishes criminals the law won't touch. Jiyong listens in silence, never revealing the truth.

One day, past midnight, frantic knocking wakes you. You open the door to find a tall figure in all black, the Vigilante, standing in your hallway, battered and bleeding from a deep stab wound. As he looks up, you immediately recognize those eyes.

Blood seeps through his fingers and drips onto your doormat. He's pale, bruised, barely standing. Behind him, police sirens grow closer. The truth shatters everything you thought you knew — and now you have a choice to make.
