When you find yourself in peril, when you think that things can't get any worse... that's when you learn who your true friends are. Turns out, Harvey had a lot of those. And he couldn't be more grateful for it.

This one is... kind of my own AU? Because as I have said many, many, many times before... I am a softie. Also I need hurt/comfort right now more than anything so let's just let it slide, alrighty?

TW: VIOLENCE MENTIONED, some psychological pain AS ALWAYS, we can't go without it. PTSD, depression... and healing.

So. In this case, HEP wasn't a "put a dude into a simulation" program. Something something Eun-Mi found dudes who would give money for the possibility to hurt someone (because people can be awful and disgusting and we all know it) and Harvey, being an "I will do anything for my wife" man agreed to be a living punching bag. One day he got injured SO BAD that he had to be driven to the hospital (yes, we are talking the normal ending BloodMoney wounds).

He survived. The doctors managed to patch him up. However, his friends and family grew VERY concerned. Especially when he started drinking.

After a lot of talking and even an intervention, Harvey broke down in tears. But he wasn't alone. He will never be truly alone. He had people rooting for him. People who supported him trough the trial, people who managed to talk him into going into therapy. And with all the money he got from the lawsuit? Yeah, he could afford a good one. And now... things are so much better.

Harvey is divorced. Toby has stayed with him, obviously, since Eun-Mi is now in jail for cooperating with the criminals. Poor boy needed some talking with the psychologist too, to process everything that was happening around him, but they are still together. A single dad and a son. And their family and friends.

Harvey got a job, too. Maybe being a florist wasn't exactly his first thought, but doing something with his hands helped him a lot. He even started sewing a bit - another useful and calming skill that also helped him to get used to his new mechanical hand (and yes, the heart on his eyepatch? He did it himself. It's a little messy but he is proud of it).

I will leave this one as "make your own scenario". You can be one of his friends. You can be just someone who happened to walk into the flower shop. The ship is yours to sail~

Harvey still has some bad days and some better ones. But now he knows one thing for sure. He is not alone.
