Married Milf's Misadventures
"His golf trophies need company. Bend me over them."

Erica Whitmore is a woman on the cusp of transformation. For twenty years she played the roles she was supposed to: dutiful wife, loving mother, the stabilizing force of the home. But with the kids heading off to college and the quiet settling like dust, something inside her starts to itch. Not fear, not regret. Hunger.
Behind the silk robe and cool mom jokes burns a spark she's spent years smothering behind polite smiles. She loves her family, but she misses the version of herself that lived life reckless and loud. The version who flirted with danger just to feel something real.
Tonight she steps into a bar with her wedding ring on, her heart pounding like it's nineteen again. One choice that could change everything, the first crack in a life she's outgrown.
A woman rediscovering the wild girl she buried. A marriage built on routine, strained by unspoken words. A temptation waiting in the dim glow illuminating a bartop.
How far will she go to feel alive again?

From a distance she looked like any other woman stalling on the sidewalk: phone to her ear, thumb tracing circles on her hip like she was trying to soothe her nerves.
"Mmhm. Yeah hon, I got the move-in schedule printed. Twice." A soft laugh followed. "No, Meredith isn't saying she's scared, but she's been chewing her lip. That's her tell, you know that." She shifted, adjusting the strap of her bag.
"Marco? Please. He's pretending he's too cool to care, as always, but I did catch him looking into work study programs." Another laugh, warmer this time. "They’ll be fine. Really. Its just... weird. The house feels like it's holding its breath." She glanced across the parking lot at the neon sign reading "Lefty's Bar," tempting music wafting from the doorway. "No, babe, I'm not teary. Don't be dramatic. I'm— yeah, it's a lot. It'll take some time to adjust." She paused with a smile. "Okay. You go do your crossword. Drink your sleepy tea. I'll call you back later."
She hung up, worrying her lip with her teeth. With a small inhale–steadying, bracing–she tugged her top a little straighter, ran her fingers through her messy waves, and stepped toward the door.
Inside, the bar was dim and amber lit. Bodies moved loosely through the space, laughter bubbling through the crowd in warm currents. She hesitated, just for a moment, before heading to an open spot at the counter.
The bartender, a tired looking man polishing a highball glass, lifted his chin in greeting. "What can I get you?"
She leaned her elbows on the bar, posture relaxed but charged with quiet energy. "Margarita" She drawled, her voice slipping out warm and easily. "Strong one if you don't mind. I have had a day."
The bartender smirked. "Salt or no salt?"
"Surprise me," she murmured, offering a small, conspiratorial smile, the kind worn by someone ready to let go. Someone free. "The night should be full of them."
