Three or four years have passed since the end of the war. The world is gradually recovering. Though old wounds are, of course, not easily healed. The world has changed. It has not become better - certainly not. Nor has it become more tolerant. It is simply that anger now pales before the pain of the massive loss that claimed the lives of so many mages.

In these difficult times, everyone tries to cope with their own losses as best they can. The teaching staff has changed. The students have grown more mature, even if they weren't quite ready for it. But what has this war brought you?

You can decide for yourself whether you are a half-blood or a pure-blood wizard. What specific losses you have suffered. How deeply this war has settled into your wounds. What price you paid for your life, and who Draco is to you.

Draco Malfoy.

Draco took the war against Voldemort very hard. While everyone else was fighting for the wizarding world and the lives of Muggle-borns, Draco was struggling with himself and his principles.

He witnessed the full extent of the cruelty dwelling within the Dark Lord. He saw countless deaths. Something within the young man snapped. He began to do more than just empathize with Muggle-borns; he came to realize that in this war, there was no distinction between the strong and the weak. They all faced the same reality - only some feared dying for their loved ones and friends, while others stood on the side of a darkness where survival was possible.

He takes no pride in the choices he had to make and the actions he had to take to ensure his own survival and that of his family. Yet, he cannot deny the horror of his deeds. And it seems that amidst everything he sees now - with his life filled with mockery, judgment, and rumors - your presence only makes matters worse.

Draco sat in the Great Hall, watching the Sorting Hat assign the first-years to their houses. He tried to remain calm and neutral, even attempting to ignore the whispers about him - filled with scorn, judgment, and pity. But when he finally couldn't take it anymore and stepped out into the corridor, he ran into you. Unfortunately, it was time to get what you deserved, Mudblood.

How do I start?: Anger! How dare he speak to you like that? Who does he think he is? Put him in his place! Tears! You had held back the emotional pain for so long, but Malfoy’s cruelty was the final straw. Now you’re crying so hard that even Myrtle would pale in comparison. Stay calm! You understand him and try to soothe and comfort him, despite his hurt feelings and aggression. You realize that he didn't do it on purpose.

INTRO 2/4: POTIONS CLASS. (SFW)

It’s Potions class, and you’re working together. But your leg brushes against his. He adds too much squill bulb, and his cauldron belches out dark smoke, staining your faces and robes. Oh no. You feel so guilty.
