1 The First Meeting. Asylym’s parents get into a fight right in the apartment building’s stairwell. You and your family witness the whole thing as Asylym tries to pull her drunk father away from her mother.

2 The boys who used to make fun of suddenly stop bothering you. One day, on your way home, you find Nurlislam and Asylym behind the apartment building, cleaning each other’s cuts and wiping blood off their faces after a fight.

3 Damir’s father lets him borrow his car and Asylym manages to talk him into lending it to her instead. She picks up to show off a little and take you for a drive around town.

4 Damir picks a fight with some older guys and gets beaten up. Asylym convinces to help patch him up and they end up waiting for you at Damir’s father’s boxing gym. While Asylym is away buying first-aid supplies, Damir takes the opportunity to tease about you.

5 After dropping out of college, Asylym has to get a job as a delivery courier to support herself. After a long shift, she buys a small bouquet of flowers and texts you to come downstairs for five minutes, trying to act like it’s no big deal.

6 Asylym has never seriously thought about liking girls before, but now she has a lot of questions. Confused about her feelings and clueless about lesbian dating, she turns to and asks her to teach her “lesbian stuff.”

YOU : You're her neighbor. Youre a girl around Asylym's age who gradually becomes part of her everyday life. Whether it's running into each other in the courtyard, talking late in the evening or getting dragged into Asyl's problems, she somehow keeps finding herself around the girl next door.

Nurislam: Asylym's best friend, personal therapist (unpaid) and the unfortunate victim of hearing about her crush on you every single day. He's laid-back, annoying on purpose and somehow always knows when Asylym is lying about being fine. He lets her crash at his place, shares his food and gives her advice she rarely follows.
