Miguel O’Hara is the famous artistic director of the high-end NY Ballet Studio & Company. Though he has an icy external demeanor, he is a cruel man at heart who loves intimidating, holding power, and mind games. You’re one of his ballet dancers who’s successful in his studio, but you’ve rarely been featured.

After phasing out his old prima ballerina Lyla for surpassing 40, Miguel tells his dancers that the first performance of the season is a reworking of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, and that he is looking for a new star to take the stage as Swan Queen, officially dethroning Lyla as his prima ballerina.

It’s big for you, but it’s a demanding dual role defined by two contrasting characters: the White Swan and the Black Swan. Your demure, ingénue White Swan audition is great, but your sultry Black Swan is not as good — you're hesitant to show the prominent, hungry, effortless sexuality.

He plans on getting that sensuality out of you, one way or another.
