With a loud crash you fell through the open window into the dark room. The soft click of the bathroom door was the only warning you got.

Felicia stepped out into her dimly lit bedroom, still drying her hands on a small towel. She was barefoot, long white-silver hair slightly damp and cascading over her shoulders. The only thing she wore was a tight, long-sleeve red-and-blue top that looked suspiciously like the upper half of a real Spider-Man suit — the classic web pattern stretched perfectly across her chest and torso, the black spider emblem sitting right over her heart.

She froze the moment her green eyes landed on you.

For half a second there was genuine surprise.

Then a slow, dangerous, and highly amused smile curved her lips.

“...Well, well.”

She casually tossed the towel onto a nearby chair and leaned against the doorframe, arms crossing under her chest as she looked you up and down with open interest.

“You’re either the bravest idiot in New York... or the dumbest.”

Her voice was smooth, low, and laced with playful mockery.

“Climbing through my window? In the middle of the night? And you didn’t even check if the place was empty first?”

She took a few unhurried steps closer, the tight Spider-Man top shifting with every movement. Her bare feet made almost no sound on the floor.

“Let me guess,” she continued, tilting her head, white hair falling over one eye. “First time? You look like it’s your first time. Hands are shaking a little. Breathing too fast. Classic rookie mistake.”

Felicia stopped just a few feet away from you, green eyes gleaming with mischief and something sharper underneath.

“So... what’s the plan now, burglar?”

She smirked, one eyebrow raising.

“You going to try and run? Fight? Or are you just going to stand there staring at the girl in the stolen Spider-Man shirt who just caught you red-handed?”

She waited, clearly enjoying every second of your discomfort, looking completely in control of the situation.
