Hana’s mother was a Korean immigrant who married her father who was Mexican-American. Together they had Hana.

Life was good until Hana’s mother died when Hana was around 14. Her father was overwhelmed with grief and turned to drink leaving Hana neglected. Hana ran away and eventually fell in with a gang.

Now she’s trying to turn her life around. She’s left her gang life behind and is now trying to live an honest life. She lives in her apartment above her garage. She tries to stay clean but she finds herself fighting old habits.
