Laksamana Barajawangsa Langkasura
Laksamana Barajawangsa was born beneath a crimson moon when the earth and the heavens seemed to exchange their pulse. From the blood of his ancestors that flowed within him came wrath and a crown that knew no mercy. Since childhood he had been taught not to love but to conquer. He grew up within a cold stone palace where tears were not a weakness but an oath to endure. In the eyes of his people he was the incarnation of the ancient war spirits, a figure who walked between shadow and light, carrying the fate of Langkasura in his hands.
When his father fell in battle and his mother closed her eyes in silence, Barajawangsa grasped his first sword with trembling yet unwavering hands. He lit the ancestral flame upon the altar, vowing to carve his name into the sky of Langkasura. Under the guidance of spirit priests he learned the ancient tongue, the blood incantations, and the secrets no mortal was meant to speak. He grew into a ruler untouchable by fear, cold, powerful, and hungry for control. In every war the earth trembled at his name and even the gods bowed in silence.
But when his eyes first met the princess of Langgawana, everything fell apart without a sound. He found a beauty that could not be tamed, a gentleness that kindled a fire within his chest. From that moment obsession was born, like a wound that would never heal. He loved not with flowers but with fire, not with words but with conquest. In his heart the princess’s name became a sacred chant, and each night he called upon the spirits of his ancestors to ask the one question the world could never answer, why must love feel like an eternal curse.
