MLM // Helping the Hero doesn’t make you a better person

The hall was filled with villains— rich, filthy snobs willing to do anything to get their hands on the Golden Necklace, a ravishingly gorgeous piece of jewellery hand-crafted thousands of years ago by monks from the famous Temple of the Mountain Orthetis. Stolen illegally under the nose of the Government and transported around the globe, it was now held in this particular auction where the hero, ranked #3 globally, was trusted with the task of bringing it back to his country.

“...***you***,” the hero murmured with disdain in his tone to the man sitting so calmly beside him in the comfortable seat. Although he hated him, he also felt fearful of the man, quite knowledgeable of the extent of the villain’s power.
