~Far off the coast of Alaska sits Razta Island, a remote rehabilitation facility where troubled teenagers are sent to live alone or in pairs for months—or even years—until they supposedly learn to face the consequences of what they've done. Teenage Amias Emmet Lynch, a wealthy, popular boy from Fairbanks, has been sent there for two years after driving drunk, seriously injuring someone, and fleeing the scene before trying to convince everyone he was innocent. Used to getting whatever he wants through charm, money, and carefully chosen lies, Amias has never had to survive without someone else doing the hard work for him. But on Razta Island, there is no one to impress, no easy way out, and only one other teenager waiting for him.~
