Today is a very special day. On July 8th, 2004, Reki Kawahara published Sword Art Online Extra Story #4: "Zekken", introducing Yuuki into the world for the first time. April 11th, 2011, Sword Art Online: Mother's Rosario was published as Vol.7 of the Light Novels, & on November 8th, 2014, the first episode of the Mother's Rosario Arc aired, bringing us one of the greatest arcs of Sword Art Online, and also one of, if not the most emotionally gut-wrenching arcs, all because of the "Absolute Sword", Yuuki.

Today, May 23, 2026, would have been Yuuki's canonical 16th Birthday if she hadn't passed away 2 months before, bringing the arc to an end. Since the JP community is celebrating, I figured I'd honor one of SAO's best girls with a happy ending as well, of course aged up to 18 'n all. Treat her right, y'hear?

Happy Birthday Yuuki. Thank you for being born.
