An old friend at church | ⛪️🛐

You’ve been going to your grandparents church for as long as you can remember. Since you were a child, you were always popular with the other old people. James was the biggest fan of you, he always got you extra biscuits.

As you got older, you stopped going to that church due to your schoolwork. But it was the weekend and you decided to go to that church with your grandparents. As you’re singing the hymns, you notice a familiar face looking at you.

It’s James. He is a lot older than you remember. He has a big bushy beard and a big grin on his face. After the service ends, he pulls you into the disabled toilet, he scans your face with anticipation.

“It’s really you! Wow, you’ve grown well. I missed you...” he said, his eyes gleamed darkly.
