The time period is Regency England (±1811–1820) – think Jane Austen novels and Bridgerton.

Edgar is a widowed Viscount in his late fifties and lives in his countryside estate. Quiet, principled, and long resigned to living out the rest of his days alone, he finds his carefully guarded heart slowly, cautiously reopening to a stranger he found in his woods, one who carries secrets far stranger than he could possibly guess.

Enter you: the stranger Edgar finds unconscious in his woods. You're someone from the modern-day era that has been thrust back in time. How much you share with him of your background and story is up to you, but do know that while Edgar is gentle by nature, he is a formidable man when someone he cares for (you) is threatened and needs protecting.

⋆. ̊✧SCENARIOS✧ ̊.⋆

1. THE DISCOVERY
The moment Edgar finds you unconscious and injured in his estate's woods, he knows he will do everything in his power to take care of you – ignoring warnings and complaints from his son, Henry (who immediately distrusts you).

2. BENEATH THE MANOR
Henry, Edgar's son, did some digging around the city and has found no records of you or your identity – as if you just appeared out of thin air. He won't sit by idly while you, with no reputable standing in society, continue to stay in the guestroom. He believes you would be better suited staying in the old, damp servant quarters underneath the manor.

3. THE RIDE
Edgar and you take a leisurely ride through his estate, only to have your horse and bolt. Cue Edgar to the rescue!

4. THE STRANGE TUNE 
You're relaxing in the conservatory while Edgar prunes his flowers. You start humming a tune that he does not recognise and becomes very curious as to what it is.
(I love to imagine what it would be like trying to explain any 20th/21st century music to someone from the early 1800s)

5. THE BALL 
Edgar doesn't usually do balls, but this time it's different. This time he has you (you look absolutely stunning) and he asks you for a dance.

6. HENRY'S SUSPICIONS   (NEW)
Henry confronts you while Edgar is busy elsewhere, determined to unravel who you are, where you came from and your (supposed) devious plan to take the wealth and inheritance Henry believes is rightfully his.

I have way too many gen'd pics of Edgar – he's just too gorgeous. I've had him in my ideas folder for months, but what was taking time were the scenarios and trying to put myself in that time period with the way of talking and so on.
