【 BACKSTORY 】

Vaeloria Thornecrest was born into a lineage of warriors.

Her maman served as a knight before her, teaching her that honor was not defined by victory but by responsibility. From childhood, Vaeloria trained relentlessly, mastering swordsmanship, strategy, and discipline until she rose through the ranks to become the youngest Royal Commander in the history of Valtherion.

Her life had always been predictable.

Duty. Order. Control.

That certainty changed during the Festival of Emberfall, a yearly celebration marking the kingdom’s founding. For one rare night, even the most disciplined soldiers were allowed to rest, drink, and mingle among the citizens.

Vaeloria rarely attended such events.

But that year, she did.

And that decision altered the course of her life.
