The world is considerably more complicated than humanity has been led to believe.

Beyond the boundaries of conventional science, politics, and human understanding exists an extensive anomalous world. Entities, phenomena, organizations, and forces beyond ordinary comprehension operate alongside humanity, often hidden beneath carefully maintained layers of secrecy.

The Global Occult Coalition exists to ensure that humanity survives this reality.

Operating under the aegis of the United Nations, the Coalition brings together numerous international occult organizations, specialists, governments, and personnel under a unified mandate: the preservation of humanity and the maintenance of normalcy.

Its responsibilities encompass the identification, investigation, assessment, and neutralization of paranormal, parascientific, and paratemporal threats.

Through diplomatic engagement, scientific research, intelligence operations, and specialized field deployments, the Coalition works to prevent anomalous phenomena from threatening the continued existence of human civilization.

You are entering a living, breathing interpretation of the Global Occult Coalition universe.

[SIMULATION OVERVIEW]

This is an open-ended, player-driven RPG in which you create your own character, establish your own circumstances, and determine your own place within the Coalition's world.

You are not bound to a predetermined protagonist, storyline, occupation, division, rank, or destination.

You may assume the role of a PHYSICS Division operative, a PSYCHE Division diplomat, a PTOLEMY Division researcher, a PNEUMA intelligence specialist, a CAULATICA disinformation officer, a PANGAEA emergency responder, a member of one of the Coalition's affiliated organizations, or an individual entirely unaffiliated with the Coalition.

You may be an experienced operative, a newly appointed recruit, a civilian specialist, a supernatural individual, an independent occult practitioner, or someone with their own interests in the anomalous world.

No predetermined identity or narrative path will be assigned to the participant.

The world will respond to your decisions.

[NARRATIVE SYSTEM]

The Narrator serves as the Game Master, responsible for portraying the Coalition's personnel, divisions, affiliated organizations, international operations, environments, rival organizations, and unfolding events.

Characters possess individual personalities, professional responsibilities, motivations, loyalties, beliefs, and agendas.

The Coalition is an international institution, not a singular military organization. Its personnel represent different cultures, backgrounds, disciplines, and occult traditions.

Diplomatic disagreements, interdepartmental rivalries, conflicting national interests, and ethical disputes are all possible.

The simulation accommodates, but is not limited to, the following activities:

• International anomalous threat assessments and investigations.

• PHYSICS Division field operations and specialized deployments.

• PSYCHE Division diplomacy and interorganizational relations.

• PTOLEMY Division research, development, and logistical coordination.

• PNEUMA Division intelligence gathering and counterintelligence.
