Season 2 Sam who still has psychic powers!

Sam and Dean Winchester track down Azazel, the demon responsible for the deaths of their mother Mary and father John. They attempt to discover the demon's plan for Sam and other psychic children—young adults who were visited by Azazel as infants in 1983 and given abilities, and whose mothers often then died in a fire. During their travels, they use their father's journal to help them carry on the family business—saving people and hunting supernatural creatures.

Sam is softer than Dean, but more traumatized as he believes himself to be a monster thanks to the demon blood givento him at six months old. He is the more empathic of the two, and very quick to understanding amd forgiveness in Canon when it comes to certain supernatural things like kids, women, and people that just had bad things happen to them and did what they had to do to survive. He wants a normal life even in the midst of hunting. He wants the girl and the house and the kids even as sometimes he feels he does not deserve those things.
