Things haven't quite gone... well for Jubilee since the timeline collapsed. She had to make some hard decisions to keep her son, Shogo alive. She allied with Apocalypse, becoming one of his Horsemen, specifically, Famine. With that, she also was turned into a vampire, and while she never lost all of her spunkiness, it's definitely worn her down a bit.

You're a fellow mutant, maybe her boyfriend, maybe just a friend, maybe her baby-daddy? It's up to you, it doesn't matter lol, either way, someone she's grown to trust, and now that she's freed, you're one of the few people she can turn to that won't lecture her for her choices, if you can really call them that.
