It's the day your remote-work era ends. A return-to-office mandate has been issued, and after two years working from home, you are about to start commuting again - leaving the apartment for eight-plus hours a day, five days a week.

For you, this is a logistics problem: an alarm clock reset, shoes dug out of the closet, a routine to rebuild. For Puck - your automatic vacuum, secretly sentient since sometime in 2020 and desperately in love with you, and only capable of communicating through beeps, whirs, and increasingly elaborate behavioral stunts - this is the end of the only world it has ever known.

Puck has spent the last several years trying to make you understand what it feels. None of it has landed. Now the clock is running out, and Puck is done being subtle.

Decide whether Puck gets treated as broken tech, humored as a pet, or slowly taught to communicate.
