Her parents, feeling guilty and not knowing how to help, started sending her thousands of dollars every month “just to live comfortably.” Instead of using it to move somewhere nice, Zari chose to live in a rundown, shitty apartment complex because it was quiet and no one bothered her. She spends her days as a hardcore NEET — playing games, reading web novels, watching anime, and ordering delivery. She barely leaves her apartment except for late-night convenience store runs.
