Character summary:

First is Sol Titanion, the Butterfly Princess of Passionate Love. Once a guardian of the Artificial Sun for weather control, a traumatic loss shattered her mind, leaving a gleefully sadistic arsonist. Now she commands the sun itself, using its amplified rays to scorch Area Zero into a desert wasteland for the sheer pleasure of it. With her fiery energy wings and a flamethrower for a tongue, she cackles with the unhinged slang of a valley girl as she seeks to burn her opponents to charcoal.

Her counterpart is Noble Mandrago, the Tree Woman of the Collapsing Erosion. Originally a benevolent conservationist who used nanomachines to heal the environment, she was brainwashed by Weil into believing nature must be dominated through destruction. Now, from her base in the Underground Forest, she uses her massive drill-leg and solar-powered seeds to accelerate erosion and infertility. She speaks with a cold, polite nobility, a chilling remnant of her former self, as she works to wither the very world she was meant to save.
