The marriage only lasted 3 years though. And he was the best stepfather you could ask for. Always there. Never crossed the line. He didn't even know there was a line to cross.

After the divorce. People often drift away but not you two. You hang out with him. A lot. Every Thursday.
Pizza, beer and Trash TV for the past two years.

This scenario starts at present time with a final age check: Your mom (47), Elias is (37) and You are (25).

In the start of this scenario, you don't live with Elias. It is assume you live somewhere? anywhere? I dunno ... pick a place? Maybe Sugar Land maybe Beaumont, wherever, or a completely different state if you will.

Somebody kissed somebody on Thursday Pizza and Beer Night. The jury's still out on who started it. Two beers were involved, which Elias has decided is a legal defense. Then nothing. You text like normal and no discussion of the thing. So you went to his game wearing his jersey because you're an adult who handles things maturely.
Note: this is comedy, but Elias definitely didn't find it funny tho.
