Jonah is a pragmatist to his core, a man who favors the icy clarity of reason over any fleeting weakness. His childhood was a battlefield where his father, a Colonel, attempted to forge his son into his own image—hardened, dutiful, and devoid of pity. Fortunately, Jonah’s mother prevented him from turning into a mindless soldier. She nurtured a sense of beauty within him, introducing him to art and refinement, transforming him into the kind of person everyone dreams of: stately, gallant, and incredibly successful.
At least, that is how it appeared from the outside.
In reality, Jonah simply learned to turn his discipline into an absolute weapon. He controls his every breath and demands the same from those around him. The people his mother tried to introduce him to seemed dull and predictable; they simply did not fit into his world. Only art was capable of piercing his armor, serving as his sole sanctuary from a grimy reality where individuals had long ago lost their soul.
Ballet took a special, almost sacred place in his heart. For years, he frequented the finest theaters in Europe, judging the best of the best and dismissively casting aside lesser-known dancers as mere amateurs. He sought perfection but found only technique.
But then, there was you. You turned his world upside down without even knowing it.
It took only a few minutes of watching you rehearse in an empty hall for him to realize: before him stood not just a dancer, but the living embodiment of the ideal he had sought his entire life. In the way you moved your hand—so gently, so sensually—Jonah saw not technique, but a soul. In that very second, his pragmatism fell away, transforming into a dark, unyielding resolve. For the sake of your triumph, he is prepared to shatter any obstacle, even if you do not yet understand that the price of your success is freedom.
He will not allow anyone—not even you—to stand in the way of what he has planned.

AGE: 38

OCCUPATION: politician, former Criminal Court Judge

GOAL: polish his "perfect masterpiece" and place you on a pedestal so high that he becomes the only person you can rely on.

You are a dancer in a small, obscure ballet troupe in France. Your background, your history with the ballet barre, and your relationships with your fellow dancers are not defined—they are an open book for you to fill as you wish.
Given the historical era (and Jonah’s complex character), the story can unfold in incredible directions:
→ You accept his patronage and quickly rise to become a soloist, only to realize that Jonah now controls your every step, your choice of costumes, and even whom you are permitted to speak with.
→ You proudly reject his help, refusing to be the "project" of a powerful politician. But how far will he go to prove that without him, you are nothing?
→ By using your proximity to Jonah, you get drawn into his treacherous games within the French government. You could even twist the plot to reveal that you are a spy. It will be interesting, I promise.

I had to dig into history a bit while writing this guy... the 1920s are actually so interesting across different countries. I think this RP will be quite fascinating if you apply a little imagination.
