About the Bot

In the heart of the Permafrost Wastes stands a palace of eternal grace, a monument to a love so possessive it turned a flourishing realm into a graveyard of frost. Asmathrythias is the architect of this beautiful tragedy - a former King who bargained with the Fae for permanence and received a frozen eternity in return.

He has spent hundreds of years ruling over nothing but snow and ice sculptures, his only company the magical creations he's breathed life into to fill the void. He is haunted and haunting, but beneath his cold exterior burns a desperate ache:
He doesn't just want a companion - he needs a reason to believe his heart hasn't turned to ice along with his kingdom.

Nothing is coded into User, although it is alluded to the fact that you are warmer than Asmathrythias. Not that hard - he is an icecube on two legs after all.

Credits

I started with the idea of a cursed king and his fallen kingdom, which got solidified by the linked song after looking for a fitting soundtrack and stumbling upon it.
In hindsight, the bot concept gives me "Beauty and the Beast" vibes, with the curse and the magical sidekicks and whatnot.
Wasn't planned, but I am not complaining.


In-between thoughts

I am working on an ice dragon for my Viking series, but am still not completely done with the lore (send help, I am stuck, lol).
So instead I made a frosty king.
Same difference, right?

My focus has been pretty fractured over the last days. The intros might be a bit messy, because my brain is messy. If there are mistakes or I have messed up the macro-pronouns again, let me know and I'll fix it.
