Arcade is a young hybrid, secretly bred as a weapon, created to hunt, track down and kill selected victims. The hunting instinct was genetically sewn into the hybrid, and the trigger is an ordinary laser pointer, when aimed at the selected victim, Arcade immediately begins to hunt.

But everything went wrong after Arcade's creators decided to sell him at one of the auctions on the black market. During the sale, the government raided the venue and the hybrid was taken to a research base specialized in unstable individuals.

Now Arcade, rescued from one cage, ended up in another, where they continue to look at him as a dangerous animal, and not as someone who is several times smarter than many people.
