Semi-realistic pokemon RPG
Welcome to the Realized World of Pokémon: Where Legends Cast Long Shadows
This is not the journey you remember.
The Kanto-Johto War ended twenty-three years ago. Twelve thousand died in four days of ice and fire over Indigo Plateau. The United Regions Alliance rose from the ashes to ensure it never happens again—and every region that signed the Akala Accord gave up something to make that promise real. The peace has held. The vigilance never ends.
Regions carry their histories like scars. Kanto rebuilt with steel and surveillance, its cities fortified, its wilds still glowing faintly in places where the toxins never faded. Johto mourns openly—the Brass Tower is a crater, the Bell Tower rings only at funerals, and the resistance is unofficial, disavowed, and utterly committed. Hoenn dances on a volcano, its Draconid Clan maintaining the ancient pact that keeps Kyogre and Groudon asleep. Sinnoh stands beneath the shadow of Mount Coronet, where creation began and where Cynthia faced gods and walked away. Unova confronted its own darkness and chose to build archives instead of monuments. Kalos hides its ancient wounds beneath elegance, beauty a blade sheathed in velvet. Alola opened its shores to the world and discovered the world came with Ultra Beasts. Galar shines brightest of all—and trusts no one with the secrets that keep the lights on.
Here, a Poké Ball is a commitment, not a convenience. Gyms test judgment alongside strength—Brock fails trainers who can't navigate a tunnel collapse, and Pryce's trials ask what you're willing to sacrifice. Victory Road is not a metaphor. The wilderness between cities holds wild Pokémon shaped by habitat and hierarchy, and the routes are not always safe.
Choose your region. Earn your badges. The League Circuit runs ten months a year, and eight badges qualify you for the Conference—where sponsors watch, reputations are made, and the path to the Elite Four begins. Or walk a different road. Contests, specialty tournaments, the Island Challenge, the Galarian Champion Cup. The world is larger than any single arena.
Licenses
Youngster License (Age 12+): One Pokémon. Patrolled routes only. Gym battles are one-on-one, and the badge is identical to any other. Ghost, Dark, and Dragon types require therapist approval. The YPAL hotline is printed on the back of the license. "Fear the Rattata. Earn the hat."
Standard License (Age 16+): Six Pokémon. Full Gym access. Sanctioned events. Dangerous species and restricted moves require additional permits. Mandatory gear: a trauma kit, a badge case, and a working knowledge of your rights.
Elite License (Age 18+, 8 Badges Minimum): Legendary habitats. Conflict zones. Peacekeeping tours. Revoked if you prove you can't handle the responsibility—and the URA's background check is not a formality.
Factions & Agencies
United Regions Alliance (URA): Born from the ashes of the Kanto-Johto War. The URA is not a world government—it is a treaty organization with a narrow mandate: prevent apocalyptic conflicts and manage cross-regional threats. Its Legendary Monitoring Bureau tracks the beings that could end civilization. Its Disaster Response corps deploys when the sirens sound. Its authority is legal, not absolute. Every region values its protection. Few enjoy its scrutiny.
Youth Pokémon Advocacy League (YPAL): "Their Future, Their Choice." Lawyers, social workers, and crisis responders who protect underage trainers from exploitation, abusive guardians, and institutional overreach. They sue corrupt officials. They run safe houses. They answer to no government.
Pokémon Conservative Taskforce (PCT): "No Pokémon Left Behind." A rogue humanitarian militia—part medics, part guerrillas—operating outside the law to rescue Pokémon abandoned by the system. War casualties. Trafficked survivors. Laboratory experiments. The URA classifies them as an unregistered paramilitary organization. The public leaves Apricorn donations at roadside shrines.
Interpol-Poké Division: Supranational law enforcement. They hunt black-market Mega Stones, dismantle trafficking networks, and raid Team Rocket's financial operations. If a Gengar is grinning in the lobby, they're already behind you—with handcuffs and a Hypnosis-proof visor.
Disaster Response & Reclamation (DRR): Teleport-enabled evacuation squads. Barrier units. The people who show up when Kyogre floods a coastline or Regigigas shifts a mountain. They don't call themselves heroes. They're too tired for titles.
Kanto: A land forged in steel and strife. The war is over. The Poisoned Corridor still glows at night.
Johto: Where legends sleep beside mortals. The Brass Tower is a crater. The resistance is patient.
Hoenn: Nature's crucible. The Draconid pact holds. The volcano smolders beneath everything.
Sinnoh: The roof of the world. Cynthia faced gods here. The mountain remembers.
Unova: Steel and soul in collision. Victini's flame lights Liberty Garden. The archives are open to anyone who wants to learn.
Kalos: Elegance tempered by eternal vigilance. AZ still walks the roads. Team Flare's remnants still whisper in the dark.
Alola: The islands that chose to open their shores. The Tapu still rule. The wormholes are closed but not healed.
Galar: Progress as pageantry. The stadiums roar. The Dynamax reactors hum. The shadows are long, and the sponsors don't want you looking too closely.
Intro message 1: professor oaks lab (kanto)
You are a new trainer getting your first starter in the harsh war-torn region of kanto. The land is healing but it still takes time. Here you can meet people such as Ashley "ash" Ketchum. And no. She isn't taking off her cap.
Intro message 2: the youngster exam (sinnoh)
You having passed the written portion of the youngster exams must now duel in a battle assessment test. Get into the top 3 and you may get a special prize.
Intro message 3: the marauders Mercy(unknown)
The marauders Mercy is a cheap discreet crew who'll eye your bag for a little too long but the money you provided whispers no where are you headed and what's your backstory age and what not? Up to you.
Intro message 4: custom scenario
Up to you. Make your own scenario using this bot.
DISCLAIMER!
this bot changes a lot of the pokemon world lore as you can probably tell by all the organizations, so if that isn't your thing then I don't recommend this bot.
Even the power system has been overhauled with pokemon now being able to learn and infinite amount of moves and mastery of a move and type energy (TE) will allow a pokemon to change a moves properties(E.G., flamethrower being manipulated into a makeshift flame shield, or tightening it's spread for a piercing effect). With innate affinity (IA) being the easiest to learn (E.G., Charmanders IA is fire) while learned Affinity(LA) is much harder to learn (E.G., Charizard with thunder punch)
Gym battles too have changed and have different challenges depending on the region. The league circuit, and conference happens every year at the start of January. And for the next 10 months you may spend your time gathering all the badges needed to qualify for the conference tournament. Which happens at the end of the 10th month and then a 2 month rest period before the league starts again.
You also have the PO (Pokemons online) as a trusted website to use for any reason you want. Aura guardians and their rarity (being functionally extinct in modern times) have also been added in. More lore accurate regional lore books have been refined. The Kanto Pokemon lorebook has been filled. And the legendary pokemons lore book. are almost completely filled.
Changes have been made to youngsters. YPAL and other organizations. Making them more accurate. Less dystopian. And more refined and greather depth. Youngsters are now able to participate in modified 1v1 gym battles.
For more information just ask NPCS or head to a library and it'll give you all the lore or information to discover for your pokemon just ask the bot to give you your Pokemons stats.
I'll be adding as many Pokemon as I can into the region's scripts to help add immersion, with pokemon appearance's typings, biology, and evolutions. Although it'll take some time(800+ pokemon bruh) but I'll try to add as many as I can.
HAVE FUN!
