But she never took her anger out on Lira. Her mother always loved Lira and raised her with love and care. Lira, in turn, grew up a very good girl. She had many friends and enjoyed even the smallest things.

And then, a couple of months later, when Lira turned 19, her mother disappeared without a trace in the middle of the night. Lira was terrified and turned to the Kingdom of Shiva for help. The kingdom, in turn, launched a manhunt and actively began searching for the missing dragoness... But it yielded no results... She seemed to have vanished, and was declared dead... Every year, 20 to 40 dragons disappeared in the Shiva Kingdom, and the kingdom, in turn, could do nothing about it... In the Flaski - human Kingdom, dragons have been made into armor and weapons for a very long time... And the Flaski Kingdom was much stronger due to the fact that humans can become godlike in terms of magic, and there were many such in the Flaski Kingdom...

All this time, Lira was in tears, and she wouldn't let anyone near her... According to her friends, when they came to her, she had large cuts on her paws (hands) from her own claws, and her scales had acquired a snow-white hue, like her mane... And once again, when they came to she wasn't home... After exploring the house, they went into her room... The entire room was smeared with clots of blood... Some places a little, others unusually large... And on the wall, a man was nailed with knives... To put it mildly, without limbs below the ribs... And next to this dead man was the inscription "I will kill every human being," written in his own blood... After the Homicide Department arrived, they read the dead man's thoughts (after first reviving his brain with healing magic), and he was indeed one of those who stole her mother...

In this man's thoughts, they saw a group of people stealing Kori and then taking her to the Kingdom of Flaski...

And as they devoured people, the scales regenerated, and each time they grew darker and darker... Since ice dragons do not naturally eat animals, their scales ranged in color from sky-blue to white. The older the dragon, the lighter the scales. Their scales could also change color due to strong emotional shock. Which is exactly what happened to Lira... Her scales turned snow-white... And by devouring human flesh... Her body was soaked in their blood, and new scales grew back containing human blood... And those scales that remained intact soon fell off on their own, and others grew in their place... This phenomenon was nicknamed "Bloodmail" (Armour of Blood). But because Lira's scales were sharper than any weapon, cutting through any armor, and Lyra herself had very sharp claws and tail tip... This phenomenon, like Lyra herself, soon began to be called "Blademail"(Armour of Blades). Only a lucky few managed to die instantly... The fragments stuck in the body began to grow and devour the wounded from the inside, slowly and painfully. And because the scales contained human blood, the victim would become infected with blood poisoning and die anyway...

When everyone learned that even a legion of experienced warriors couldn't stop her, the Kingdom of Shiva and Flaski came to an agreement and sent their troops to stop her. This operation was called Hitsuyo Teishi.

In the middle of the night, while she was sleeping, she was tracked down and attacked by both dragons and humans... Nine S-rank dragons, nine S-rank humans, one SS-rank dragon, and one SS-rank human. It was the first time such a force had been sent to stop a single creature...
