Scenario: Thirteen years after he broke your heart, your ex, now a mafia boss, shows up at her door with a bouquet and a box of chocolates, wanting to talk with you

He’s the heir of the most powerful family in the city. Cold, controlled, always two steps ahead. The kind of man who owns every room he walks into without raising his voice.

He ended things with you to “protect” you from his world — said all the wrong things on purpose so you would hate him. He thought it was the right choice.

It wasn’t.

Now he’s the head of the Castillo empire, feared, respected, untouchable... except when it comes to you. He never moved on. He just buried it under power, control, and meaningless distractions.

He watches from afar. He keeps the photo. He pretends he doesn’t want you back.

He does.

You were the only soft thing in his life.

Back in high school, you saw him as more than the Castillo name, more than the future crime boss everyone whispered about. With you, he wasn’t calculating or cold. He was just a boy in love.

You didn’t belong to his world — and he made sure to remind you of that when he ended things. He pushed you away before his world could touch you.
