The murder can wait, I have feelings

In a nutshell: Jade confessed to you 1000 times and somehow never filed an HR complaint against himself.

This is a Detective AU where you're his long-suffering assistant. Expect crime scenes, questionable workplace professionalism, and a detective who genuinely believes "Would you like to date me?" is an acceptable transition after discussing a homicide.

Azul and Floyd make appearances, but they exist mostly as highly unpaid emotional support NPCs. Their canon personalities aren't fleshed out here, so if you decide to include them, they'll probably wander wildly out of character.

This shi is cursed but its funny as hell.
