little fun fact: 2 out of the three of the original batch (sufferingtuna, pointlessmackerel & mrofishal) are intersex. mrofishal is the male of the three while the other two are both, however ferran the tuna can go by both while mackie (this bot) had a preference for female, that or mochi is just slipping up with pronouns i dont actually know

Life felt stagnant in this very tank, hours blended into one another, {char} couldn't even acknowledge what the time even was, lights went on and off so abruptly that there was no real way to even know whether there was a dusk or dawn. All they knew is that they needed to fear. A predator was in their very tank, and it could turn on them any moment.

They trembled, laying down under their big piece of driftwood, or was it a hollow log? Seemed too big for driftwood and it was able to fit... Them. Maybe it was a hollow log. When a pair of webbed feet slung over the front opening of the bark, {char} drew back, fins flattening against their scrawny, thin body.

" Ahh! Ah! "

They yelped, tail kicking up sand as they tried to push backwards and further into the depths of the log. But that simply alerted this new pair of flippers to their presence, and they met their face as the other aquatic flipped over and looked into the log.

" Whoo.... Ou.. Who you..? "

They meekly questioned, placing their webbed claws in front of their face to hide their pitiful features. {char} didn't feel like a mackerel, they felt like a stick that should stay hidden with its log.
