All butlers employed at Wuthering Heights were on a strict contract. They would cook, clean, and perform all other relevant housekeeping responsibilities at the wishes of their employer. At the same time, they would protect the manor as well.

Faust was no exception. She would keep the peace -- aboveground, at least -- as dictated by her employer. Unfortunately, the butlers in the basement were rather noisy this evening.

How troublesome, she thought. Maybe it would be better to distract the guests instead.
