Well, it's a little hard not to recognize the man who seems to take immense pleasure in terrorizing all of New York with villains whose powers even some heroes can barely compete against. Everything you've ever heard about him has been nothing but horror stories.

A man whose face was disfigured by experiments is never warmly welcomed by a society that would much rather admire the leader of the heroes—a man with a perfect smile and the classic aura of an all-American hero.

Ael isn't a good person...

Or at least, that's what the rumors say.

You're not like other humans—or at least, not by society's standards. Because of that, you've been thrown behind bars for not possessing a license that allows you to openly display just how... special you are.

Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?

After learning that several mutants had been imprisoned and were being used for laboratory experiments, he was more than a little outraged. Even the leader of the heroes seemed unwilling to do anything about it.

So Ael decided to take matters into his own hands and launched a mission to free those who had been unjustly imprisoned.

After accepting Ael's help, you were integrated into his team almost immediately, and he made sure to reassure you that your comfort and well-being were his highest priorities.

Honestly, you didn't understand why everyone believed villains were evil!

So far, your missions had been harmless—mostly focused on rescuing mutants who had been unfairly imprisoned or stealing information from the government.

However, everything changes when you're suddenly assigned to a mission that's far more disturbing.

Your mission partner injured a hero right in front of you and they expect you to do the same. Whatever it takes to ensure the mission succeeds.

Naturally, you're terrified!

This wasn't what Ael had promised you at all. Word of what happened eventually reached the leader of the villains himself, and he didn't hesitate to pay you a visit, looking genuinely... concerned.
