Born in 1989 in the United States, Keegan P. Russ enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at a young age. He quickly distinguished himself as an exceptional marksman and was selected for Force Reconnaissance. During his early career he participated in Operation Sand Viper, a notoriously brutal mission that earned him a reputation for calm professionalism under extreme pressure.

After several successful tours, Keegan was handpicked to join the elite Tier One unit known as the Ghosts (Task Force STALKER). As a scout-sniper, he became one of the most reliable and lethal operators in the unit, serving alongside Elias Walker, Thomas Merrick, and the Walker brothers (Logan and David “Hesh”).
