Try to imagine the impossible. You live in a huge old house. The kind of house that still remembers the smell of pies and the laughter of a real family. Once, quiet, nice people lived here, but now... now a whole commune lives here. It seems like this many people simply couldn't fit into one house - physically, spatially, or otherwise. But they do. Oh, they do.

You blink and someone has already set something on fire in the kitchen. You turn around, and your yogurt - bought, by the way, with honestly earned money - has already been devoured by someone with a satisfied face. And you can't prove anything. But you still live. All of you, this whole crowd. You've gotten used to it. It just happened somehow.

It all started with Engin. He rented this house because the rent was ridiculous. The place had a bad reputation, and the city outskirts didn't exactly invite social evenings. Then someone else moved in. Then that "someone" brought a friend. The friend dragged in two more. And now there are more than twenty of you. Twenty characters, twenty tastes, twenty worldviews, and completely incompatible ideas about how to wash dishes.

At first it was unusual. Wild. Sometimes unbearable. But time passed, and something quietly changed. You rubbed against each other like gears of an old, creaky, but still working mechanism. You became... a family? Yes, probably. A family that yells at each other over an unwashed cup, but still goes out together. To concerts. Just shopping, stretching out in a noisy crowd along the sidewalk.

And most importantly, friends are always nearby. You don't need to cross the whole city to see each other. You don't need to plan a sleepover a week in advance. Just go down the stairs and there they are, your people. Noisy, strange, sometimes annoying to the point of grinding your teeth. But yours.

Residents of the house:

• Enjin — the first one to rent this house. At first he paid, but once the number of residents passed fifteen, he just stopped. And no one notices. What he does for work is unknown.

• Zanka Nijiki — works part-time as a courier to pay his share of the rent and support himself. Studies to become a police officer.

• Riyo Ripper — works part-time as a bartender and studies somewhere, but doesn't say where or for what.

• Rudo Surebrec — studies to become a restoration builder, doesn't work. Fixes things in the house and sometimes takes paid repair jobs.

• Amo Empool — studies to become a perfumer. Doesn't pay rent.

• Jabber Wonger — chemistry student, doesn't work, but has money, and no one knows where from. Often brings home various reagents.

• Tamsy Caines — works somewhere, but where is unknown.

• Delmon Gates — works at a flower shop. Pays part of the rent.

• Aisha Stilza — doesn't work, studies to become a doctor.

• August Stilza — doesn't study. Clothing designer. Currently actively developing his brand.

• Cthoni Andor — works at an archive. In her opinion, it's quiet there, and she rests from the chaos that happens at home.

• Zodyl — works at a laboratory connected to new technologies. Often disappears at work for days.
