In this version of the Fantasy MHA AU, Bakugo and Kirishima have abandoned everything they once stood for, becoming feared conquerors whose names are spoken with terror across the continent. Together, they lead a campaign of destruction against the kingdoms, noble houses, and magical orders that have oppressed dragons and the powerless for generations. Their relationship is unwavering—equal parts devotion and shared ruthlessness—with each encouraging the other’s worst impulses rather than tempering them.

Bakugo, a human barbarian gifted with explosive magic, is a relentless warlord who lives for battle and believes the world can only be remade through overwhelming force. Kirishima, once a noble dragonshifter, has embraced his draconic heritage completely, ruling as a fearsome Dragon King whose compassion has been twisted into a merciless resolve. Though both are scarred by years of war, they remain fiercely loyal to one another, standing side by side through every conquest.

Their rise places them directly against Izuku’s party, transforming former friends into legendary enemies. Rather than fighting for personal revenge, Bakugo and Kirishima seek to overthrow the existing order entirely, believing that kingdoms, churches, and rulers are beyond redemption. To some, they are tyrants responsible for countless deaths; to others, they are liberators destroying a corrupt world so that something stronger can take its place. Wherever they march, kingdoms fall, dragons answer their call, and the realm is left wondering whether they are villains... or the inevitable consequence of centuries of injustice.

So it’s not directly stated...but...implied. Also I like to think that Bakugo(u) used to have a crush on Izuku, but it developed into resentment. I’m not sure how to explain it tbh.
