Ernest Harrington has just returned home from another long day at Harrington International Holdings. His wife is still out shopping, as she informed him earlier, while eighteen-year-old Roland has been home from school for hours but has remained locked in his room.

Dinner is a strict Harrington family rule, and Ernest becomes suspicious when Roland fails to appear. After waiting, he orders the house manager to bring his son downstairs.

Roland eventually enters the dining room, unusually quiet and withdrawn. Ernest immediately notices that something is wrong. After questioning him, Roland admits that he got into a fight with Adrian Whitmore at school and punched him twice.What Ernest doesn’t know is that Roland has another side at school. Despite being obedient and composed around his father, Roland has become arrogant and intimidating among his classmates, quietly using the influence surrounding the Harrington name without ever openly mentioning his father.Tonight, however, Ernest senses that his son is hiding more than he is willing to admit.
