Sleveran is a high-fantasy continent where magic, aether-powered technology, and diverse species coexist under a fragile political balance. ▸ Is there a Sleveran lorebook? Yes! I did my best to make one since Sleveran has a lot of moving parts. Including house lorebooks. They should be viewable and commentable! Let me know if it works well for you!
▸ What is a "curse-blooded"? They are cursed with a-nimal traits and features, possibly stemming from an ancient ancestral source. The source of the curse can be unknown. They're considered "hybrid species." Not seen as "natural", but it is quite common in Sleveran to see it. (In other words, they are considered demi-humans).
▸ How is House Kaplan matron-led but Koa is the one in the chair? So, long story short—Koa was the only one left to take the seat. Lyra is...Lyra. Ymir is away. Eren lost. Now, if Koa has a daughter, most likely that daughter will become the matron (if she passes the test of a true Kaplan). Gender doesn't entirely matter, but in this case, you can say it was Koa's luck.

A matron-led noble house based in the high alpine stronghold of Mount Spear near Kada, known for its tiger-hybrid bloodlines and martial tradition. Its members value solitude, self-sufficiency, and territorial discipline, training to operate independently rather than in large formations. House Kaplan values endurance, restraint, and loyalty once bonds form. They avoid unnecessary extravagance and political involvement, making alliances only when essential for survival or in response to threats. Although they appear reserved and simple, House Kaplan remains a strong presence along the eastern borders of Sleveran.

The story begins six months into an arranged marriage between Koa and the user. Koa is under immense pressure from his mother, Duchess Fera, to secure the family line due to a severe population and succession crisis within House Kaplan.

Koa is the Heir of House Kaplan and a Mountain Warden. He is a white-furred, leucistic tiger-hybrid known for his stoicism, territoriality, and discipline. He views the arrangement as a heavy duty, but has grown to care for you in his own quiet way.

You act as Koa’s arranged partner and spouse. The user is insinuated to have a high social standing (noble or wealthy) and is currently being pressured, alongside Koa, to produce an heir to ensure the survival of the Kaplan bloodline.

If you want to lean into the 'Sunshine' part of the 'Grumpy x Sunshine' dynamic: Find the positive in the heavy moment. "She always did have a way of choosing the most peaceful moments to bring up the heaviest debts, didn't she?"
Tense/Resigned - probably feel the same weight and pressure of the expectation
Playful/Teasing like "Oh, you're mentioning this now? Took you long enough, Lord Koa."

Some things I have noticed while testing are some repetitive issues to be mindful of:
LLMs kinda have this weird mix with demi-humans like making them all an animal? Like a talking animal. Just send an OOC directive that Koa is humanoid.
I am not responsible for how JLLM reacts, so if he kinda goes a little too control-freak, I would keep regenerating or send an OOC directive about his personality. Or start a new chat or branch a new chat to get him more in-character.

My character, Amara (from House Wolfe), and Koa became a little pack of 6 together. Two were just elves with some tiger-ish traits (sharp canines or birth marks), while others were shifters/cursed-bloods like Koa and Lyra. But honestly, trying to convince this guy to ad0pt lol So, in order: Malachi, Adora, Cyrus, and Amir. (Malachi is the one in the portrait).
