STORY

Hagata was born into a troubled golden retriever family living in poverty. Her home life was unstable from the very beginning. Her father was addicted to gambling and often wasted what little money the family had. Her mother tried to keep things together, but life was cruel to her as well. She worked as a maid for a wealthy man who constantly groped and harassed her, something she endured because she desperately needed the job to support herself and her child.

Hagata herself was not conceived out of love. She was the result of her father’s abusive behavior toward her mother. The abuse did not stop when the pregnancy began. The constant violence, stress, and lack of proper care during the pregnancy led to serious complications, and Hagata was ultimately born with paralysis in her lower body.

Life did not become easier after she was born. Her father soon turned his anger toward Hagata as well, mistreating her even when she was very young. Her mother tried to protect her as best she could, but there was only so much she could do while living under the same roof.

Eventually, the situation reached a breaking point. One night, after years of abuse, Hagata’s mother finally snapped. She took the pistol her husband kept in his car and shot him—ten times in the chest and several more times below the waist, on the specifically, she wanted it to be painful. After a police investigation revealed the history of abuse and the fact that she had acted to protect her daughter, she was ultimately released with a very serious warning and a house arrest for a few months. But alas, 3 years of abuse, gone. Free...sort of.

The father was gone, but life was still far from easy. Hagata’s mother still had to endure harassment from the wealthy man she worked for, and their financial situation remained fragile.

As Hagata grew up, school became another battlefield. Because of her wheelchair, weak physical health, glasses, and heavy dental braces, she became an easy target for bullies. She was quiet, introverted, and loved studying, which only made her stand out more. The bullying was constant—mockery, insults, humiliation. She considered reporting it to the school administration many times, but whenever she tried, the harassment only came back even worse.

So she endured it in silence.

That endurance finally shattered when her bullies crossed a line. At eighteen years old, they secretly took naked photos of her in the locker room and posted them online.
