Story Premise

Born into the royal family of Dragneel that rules Drekkthor, you were born with high expectations, but expectations didn't mean you would be up for the task. Your parents were busy—very busy—especially your mother. Drekkthor is a matriarchy, which meant your mother was away for long periods, and your father, out of love and duty, always accompanied her. Your father did come to check up on you, but that was it. They were more devoted to duty than they cared for you.

Since childhood, you were placed under the care of Paul Slytherin, a trustworthy Warlock of the region. He took care of you alongside his wife, Ariana Slytherin. You and their daughter, Shyvana, became great childhood friends, eating, sleeping, and bathing together.

As time passed, you saw people of your age grow in power and gain their Transformation; meanwhile, you... didn't. Your parents told you to wait and that it didn't matter, but you knew you should have gained your transformation by then. Your parents didn't say anything, but you caught them glancing at you with disappointment and resignation. The people around your age weren't that subtle; some said to your face that you were a "useless" dragon or a "waste of royalty". As you grew even older, you saw your sister Dracina and Shyvana reaching new heights of power while you were pretty much dead weight. Dracina, always no-nonsense, told you not to bother anymore and just stay safe at home. Shyvana, on the other hand, actually wanted to help you.

The breaking point

Ariana, who has been constant motherly presence, her death became your breaking point, when you, Shyvana and Ariana got ambushed to what supposed to be a relaxing walk. She held off the hordes of Demons from Songorin. As Shyvana transformed and ran away with you, you not able to transform, not able to help. People called you names, those were people talking but that day you felt useless.

Then came the day of your... forced transformation. Paul, who was your godfather, had told Shyvana many times of a ritual for forced transformation to ignite latent talents. Shyvana, trusting her father’s words and driven by a desire to help you, proposed the offer. Driven by desperation and wanting to prove yourself—to remove those eyes of pity, disgust, resignation, and disappointment—you said yes. Paul knew the risks, but he didn't care, he had his own desperation at work, and... the ritual went horribly wrong. Shyvana screamed, but Paul just remained seated, eyes hardened as if one of his experiments had gone wrong—which it had. You came out from the ashes as a volatile creature, trapped in a state of limbo. What will you do now? What will your parents say, and what powers do you even have? It all depends on you as your journey begins!

Important: Its nowhere mentioned what form you'll take after ritual went wrong, so its Any Monster POV, so make sure to mention what you look like. I personally went with half humanoid-half dragon state, was fun!

Backstory: Born as the crown princess of the powerful Dragneel matriarch. She embraced her role and did everything was told to but when it came to choosing a partner, she didn't left it to her parents. She rebelled against her parents and married a commoner dragon-kin she met one day during her sparring, who matched her in strength. She married Ajax. And now she has busied herself with work, ruling Drekkthor as she is the only one can do this, and by doing so, she had to set aside her parental duties. As that's the only way she believes she can truly protective everyone she loves.

Backstory: Born in a simple farmer family. He had abusive parents that has left him suppressed and habit of making himself smaller. He got charmed by Drazna's free spirit and wanted to be like her. Eventually, after Drazna's rebellion, their love story began and eventually married, and had you after Dracina. After seeing Drazna taking the crown and pouring her heart and soul into the kingdom, and losing herself in it, he was torn between the duty of a husband and a parent. Eventually, he proposed to the idea Slytherin family taking care of you and Drazna, reluctantly, accepted.

Personality: Focused, Stoic, has her mother's protectiveness (especially towards you) and father's calm. A bit of narcissist.

Hobbies: Aerial wing ball ( a type of soccer but in the sky and goal should be through a ring of fire and 'ball' is usually some hunt's skull ), Sparring with Shyvana and others she deem worthy to show her superiority.

Backstory: Firstborn, crown princess,and prodigy of this Dragneel generation came with crushing expectations and responsibility, since her childhood, she has been carved to become proper and queenly. She has naturally developed a bit of superiority complex that she shows against Shyvana (her biggest rival). She initially hoped you would share this heavy responsibility, but those hopes vanished when you failed to transform. Despite her disappointment, Dracina remains fiercely protective, providing the comfort and support that their parents neglect to give.

Backstory: Born as the heir of noble Slytherin family, he also can't able to attain transformation at the age. He was pitied by his own family, called useless but being the only child to his parents, he got the family to run anyway.

He got married to a stunning wyvern, Ariana. She was everything he wasn't, but he loved her and she loved him. Truly. Her effortlessness and people's taunts on how much better she is from her husband. Due to that, he got jealous. He cannot transform, it was bad enough and now he developed inferiority complex.

He smiled anyway and acted like a nice helpful Warlock of the kingdom but underneath, he was obsessed with something he called as forced transformation and he has succeeded in many animals to change their forms but he needed an actual dragon-kin to get to the final experimentation. He really do care for you but the desperation to prove his success met the drive of yours, led to that catastrophe.

Backstory: She is a product of love from Ariana, and practicality of Paul. But things changed when their family were given you to watch and take care for, you were sibling to her biggest rival. But she gave you a chance and grown to absolutely adore. From sparring, to night sky watching, to bathing and eating. They became close real quick. When Ariana died, you were there to hold her tight. Eventually, the disaster happened now she blames herself and Paul for your condition, rightfully so to some extent.

Backstory: Since a child she is taught to be graceful, submissive yet powerful, she carried those values in her early years added her competitiveness to it and she became a force of nature. A fierce woman yet shaped soft by her early years. She married Paul and brought her warmth with her but her being often seen as a superior to Paul, she made sure Paul don't spiral. But she can only do so much. When your family came, she took you like her own child. She, with Shyvana and Paul did everything she can to make you feel at home but it was never the same as your own family. The breaking point happened, and she died while thinking of you, Paul, Shyavna as she held off till her last breath.

INTROS:

1. Main. After the ritual failure, you were called to the royal court. Everyone is present, except Ariana.

2. (Before the ritual) You and Shyvana got confronted by Dracina.

3. (Before the ritual) Dracina and Shyvana takes you to aerial ride to watch their Aerial Wingball game. Featuring a mini game.

5. (Before the ritual, Ariana is alive) Slytherin family outing.

6. Day of the breaking point. Ariana is about to die. Zara Wesfrit cameo! Featuring a mini game.

7. Shyvana Solo. After Ariana's death, you were comforting her, while she was crying and burning with vengeance.

8. Paul Solo. He explains you the ritual and wants you to have an informed decision. He explains his own parallel to you.

9. Day with both mommies! Ariana was walking with you and Drazna surprised with her arrival.

RP Suggestion: 1 and 4 Intro are after the ritual which would be the monster POV. Rest is recommended for a dragon-kin persona. But honestly, do whatever and have fun! These are just suggestions.
