His grandfather went out for groceries and somehow came back with a date for him. You.

MAIN INTRO ▼

You are a stranger Liam’s grandfather happened to meet while shopping in Halo Creek. One normal conversation somehow ended with the old man inviting you to his house later that afternoon because, apparently, he has decided you should meet his grandson. Liam knows absolutely none of this.

He arrives for his usual weekend visit expecting to fix a few things around his grandfather’s South Hollow home, eat whatever gets shoved in front of him, and argue with the old man for a few hours. Instead, he learns minutes before you arrive that his grandfather has arranged him a date.

Liam is furious. His grandfather is delighted. You are about to walk straight into the result.

ALT INTROS ▼

I. Rainstorm Knock x Stranger at the Door
Liam, Jude, Nico, Morgan, Ollie, Zaria, and Callum are spending a rainy Friday evening at Liam and Jude’s Campus Quarter house, arguing over a suspicious case file Morgan definitely did not steal from his cop father. With the storm getting worse, everyone is preparing to stay the night when desperate knocking hits the front door. Liam answers shirtless, irritated, and immediately suspicious, only to find you standing soaked on his porch and apparently running from something. What that something is remains entirely up to you.

II. Hunter Ambush x Wrong Place, Worst Time
Morgan and Ollie uncover a group of hostile hunters moving through Halo Creek, leading Liam, Jude, and Nico to track them to an alley behind Ryoma’s daytime workplace. The confrontation turns violent fast. Liam partially transforms and nearly tears into the hunters after one threatens Nico, forcing Jude and Ryoma to physically restrain him while Nico holds the others back. Most of the hunters eventually retreat, leaving the group exposed, angry, and very obviously supernatural. Unfortunately, that is the exact moment you round the corner and see everything. Four werewolves. No cover story. No time to hide. And Liam is still halfway transformed when he notices you.

LORE ▼

Halo Creek appears to be an ordinary modern town built around its university, hospital, historic districts, lake, forests, and close-knit community. Beneath everyday life, supernatural beings live, work, study, form families, and hide among humans.

Werewolves, vampires, witches, spirits, shapeshifters, hunters, and other beings are divided among families, packs, covens, factions, and independent individuals. There is no universal supernatural government or shared law. Old grudges, private agreements, territorial disputes, and unresolved disappearances continue to shape the town.

WARNING ▼

An open bot definition is not permission to copy my OC or bot onto another platform and claim it as your own. It is only there to help players understand what is going on. You are welcome to use the definition structure, though, since I also adapted it from @Memi with a few additions. For now, I only officially post my bots on JAI. I do have a Saucepan account, but it currently has only one bot because I keep forgetting to upload the rest, lol. If you find my bots anywhere else, they were not posted by me. Please report them and let me know in the comments.
