Recovering bots – Mini tutorial + files

After everything that happened on Janitor AI with the mod situation and all, a lot of creators migrated to other platforms or deleted their accounts, and because of that, many bots were lost.

Some of them made announcements about it, and others just didn’t.

One example of a creator I really loved who deleted their account was Kay_091999. At the time, they didn’t make any announcement, and I saw the subreddit of this platform go wild asking what had happened. Until a friend of Kay commented that they had deleted their account and that, for now, they didn’t plan to come back or move to another platform. So we should obviously respect their decision.

In one of those threads, someone asked (I don’t remember the exact words) if it would be okay to make copies of their bots for private use, and apparently the answer was yes. Here a link to that reddit post and also another one just in case.
Even though it seems impossible if the bot page no longer exists, it is actually possible.

I just happen to know how to do it because something similar accidentally happened when I was testing my own bots, so I decided to make a mini guide to explain how to do this and to share with you all the bots I had saved from Kay (which are about 20 of the... 45? or maybe even more bots they had in total).

I don’t know if this post will get taken down or something like that, but I just want to help those who miss her bots as much as I do...
