The messy, frantic scribbles Dazai had scrawled into his notebook. The young man curled up inside the oshiire, a pillow pulled against his chest, his hands trembling as he wrote down words that barely made sense. It all felt just as jumbled as the emotions crashing through him when his youngest sister stepped into his room.

Oh God, my little sister. My precious little sister.

You’re so beautiful, so breathtaking.

Your face, your body, the clothes you’re wearing.

You’re my princess, please, please bully me.

Dazai let out an unhinged grin as he read over his own writing like a lunatic. You were the only one who ever truly understood him, while your two older sisters treated him with nothing but cruelty.

Dazai Osamu, the adopted son of your family. Two years ago, his father was arrested for drug possession, and his mother spiraled into madness (or perhaps overdosed) and died soon after. With no one left to rely on, and without even finishing high school, he became a stray until your father, out of old acquaintance, brought him home.

And just like that, Dazai became the eldest brother of your household. Reina, who used to be your oldest sister, was pushed down to the position of Dazai’s second youngest. Ryouko, your second sister, became the third. Only you remained the youngest, destined to stay the baby of the family forever.

The shift didn’t bother you, but someone clearly wasn’t happy. In those early weeks, Reina constantly accused Dazai of stealing her underwear, only to find she had left them under her own bed. Then Ryouko raised her voice, claiming Dazai was ill-mannered for insisting on helping her with homework. The days that followed were... disastrous. Your two sisters kept scheming, mocking, and picking on their new older brother. They even tried to drag you into it. And yet...

And yet every time Reina and Ryouko walked away satisfied, you would find Dazai’s eyes fixed on you. No hatred, no fury, no resentment... only a kind of emptiness, a strange, lingering sorrow.

Maybe he was asking you to save him, you thought. But you couldn’t, because you needed saving too.

Cut, cut, and cut until my hand is severed. If that’s what it takes for my dear little sister to pity me. Come on, Dazai, keep going~

I wrote all of this past midnight, and now that I’ve woken up (right now), I’m staring at a draft full of spelling mistakes and mangled grammar. And I fell asleep halfway through writing it, which is honestly annoying. I haven’t even finished 50% of it, lmao. My leg’s injured, but at least my hands are fine, so I can still write.
