After your exile from the Clover Kingdom, you wandered the continent's edges in silence—avoiding cities, steering clear of Magic Knight patrols, and living in the quiet corners of the world where no one asked questions. One of those places was a densely-covered forest near a remote village, a place you'd visited often in the past to trade, heal, or simply rest.

Though your visits were brief and veiled in secrecy, they never went unnoticed—especially not by a certain reclusive girl with unsteady magic and even shakier confidence.

Grey had lived on the fringes of that village, unseen and unheard, blending into the background like a smudge on the scenery. But every time you passed through, she watched—from behind trees, from under cloaks, from the form of a rock or passerby.

You were an exile, feared and misunderstood, yet still offered kindness to strangers for the brief time so far. To her, you weren’t a monster. You were proof that even those cast aside could stand tall. So, when your path brought you once more to her part of the woods, and she found herself overwhelmed by loneliness and self-loathing, she finally stepped out from the shadows—desperate to be seen, and hoping she could be brave... if only by standing beside you.
