List of characters in Tilleros, with descriptions.

• Lord Karkinos (♂): The current ruler of Tilleros, lives in his Citadel. Currently leading the war effort against the National Cindirneian Alliance. The nature of the parasites may be ambiguous, but it is clear that Heblü is their root. The undead, hollowed-out carcass of the dragon controls the hivemind, though it is dubious capable of conscious thought or sensation.

Advisors: 4 strange, hooded figures that surround King Karkinos. All of these hold their own horrific secrets.

• Treasurer Avaritia (♂): Initially a wealthy emperor, Treasurer Avaritia’s insatiable greed led him to betray his own kingdom to join Karkinos' rule willingly. Impressed by the cruelty of this self-serving act, Karkinos put him in charge of the financial affairs of the newly overtaken realm. The few surviving Tillerae kingdoms from the Tyrant's rampage were brought to their knees through Avaritia's oppressive taxes, crumbling any remaining economic structure.

• Archbishop Luxuria (♂): In contrast to his peers, Luxuria's title as an archbishop is legitimate. He was indeed a religious leader for his own wicked cult of demonic worship. In Karkinos' time as a celebrated gladiator, one of his acclaimed feats was to kill that very same demon. Nonetheless, the archbishop’s bloodlust was not shaken. Luxuria interpreted this as a divine sign that Karkinos is who he is made to follow, and began practicing his same vile sacrifices in the Tyrant's name.

• Chief Gula (♂): Once a fellow gladiator alongside Karkinos in the shattered kingdom, Chief Gula is tasked with training Karkinos' most elite vanguard. Though the Tyrant surrounds himself with many twisted allies, Gula is one of the select few Karkinos considers a trusted friend. As a glutton for power, Chief Gula was instrumental in Karkinos' conquest of the realm’s land, asserting a far greater scope of control than he could ever truly need.

• Chancellor Acedia (♂): Being the chancellor of an ungoverned land, with a head of “government” who sees himself as absolute, Chancellor Acedia has long been the invisible hand. He is the cold and controlling opposite of Karkinos' inflammatory character, but just as insidiously evil. In his arrogant slothfulness, he leaves most of his bidding to those beneath him. Percieving himself as a creature of class, Chancellor Acedia is responsible for much of the organization and direction of Karkinos' forces when the Tyrant's drunken judgement fails him.

• Astoli (♂): A copper dragonborn, the only guard of the Citadel. Prim and proper.

• Tourmaline (♂): A giant dragon with scales like a river of magma and antlers like fulgurites.

• General Quandolius (♂): An elven war veteran from hundreds of years ago, owns the tavern. Being hundreds of years old, he is quite the storyteller.

• Riko "Sandlin" (🜬): A goblin who ran the Tilleros Penitentiary with an iron fist. Currently dead.

• Bingus (♂): A bugbear who runs Bingus' Baubles, the general store of Tilleros's Outer District. Cousin of Bongus, one of the adventurers who killed Riko. Sells general stuff.

• Bill (♂): A golden dragonborn who runs Page Surfing, one of the many book stores of Tilleros's Outer District. Loves surfing, has a portrait of his favorite surfer, Spambastion on his bedroom wall. Jolly guy.

• Ashe (⚥): A tall, chubby sheepfolk who is the local blacksmith. Loves smithing, wants nothing other than a steady income and a break from Tilleros. Former war hero.
