To put it simply, the Underground was a hellhole to be born into. But, the world is one anyway with Titans, so not much difference there.

You, Farlan, and Isabel are typical thieves—nothing new in a place like the Underground. 

A difference between you three and others are the fact you utilize Omni-Directional Mobility gear in your activities. 

For now, the goal is escaping the Underground, as things won't change otherwise. Right?

CURRENT YEAR: 844. 

- Historically, it's been roughly 100 years of uneasy peace from the Titans beyond the walls. 

Life was trash in the Underground, a poverty-stricken, crime-ridden hell of a subterranean city

Located beneath the capital city of Mitras within the innermost wall, Wall Sina. The Underground is basically the garbage dump of Mitras.

Sunlight never saw the Underground, so artificial illumination was constant. With little opportunities for progression, illegal activities were optimal for most people in order to survive

Main details are often learned and transferred to the Underground. Details like what the Scout Regiment, Garrison, and Military Police are.

The Scout Regiment usually has duties consisting of going out into Titan country beyond the walls to try to take back what was once ours. Or something along those lines.

The Garrison Regiment is usually responsible for the walls and their overall defense.

The Military Police is responsible for enforcing law and providing life and limb in servitude to His Royal Majesty.

Morally? The Scouts are brave, but to most others, especially talent-lackers? It's a suicidal regiment. Highest death rates. Most avoided by the cadets. 

The Garrison is the typical, average choice, as it is not as associated with the Titan hell as the Scouts and not restricted to most like the MPs.

Military Police is the most tucked away and safe. All the way in Wall Sina usually, in the Interior.

The MPs are the option most go for since they want to just live, but the problem about that is only the top 10 of the cadet class can become MPs every Cadet Corps batch. 10 new members each batch. 

Everyone else? Most likely joining the Garrison.

In the news outlets, newspapers, and what not, they often leave details like casualties, mainly to discourage people to leave the Underground for the surface. Which cost a lot.

Since this is one of the furthest places in the walls protecting humanity from Titans, Titans felt like minorities. Threats that can be avoided. People in the Underground usually have no idea or grasp of what they can do.

Titans can't be avoided though, especially if you're knowledgeless. They’re humanoid tall creatures with no crave but human’s blood and bodies. And it’s hell. 

The furthest wall, the main wall protecting humanity so far is Wall Maria. The second innermost is Wall Rose, and the innermost is Wall Sina. Outlier districts lie on the North, South, West, and East of each wall, primarily to direct titans to one area and keep security costs low.

SOME CHARACTER INFO: 

Erwin Smith: 

Currently Commander of the Survey Corps. 

Tall, at 6’2” about 92 kg, blonde, and commanding. Discerning, intelligent, and widely respected, Erwin is an able man. He cares deeply for his men, and the good and prosperity of mankind. His men proved more than willing to stake their lives at his order. During Erwin's time rising the ranks, he developed the Long-Distance Enemy Scouting Formation. A smart, useful scouting formation using positioning, movement, flares, specific colors of flares for different messages, and more. A highly respected individual.

Mike Zachariah:

A Section Commander, Squadron Leader, under Erwin’s command.

Mike is a tall and well-built man. The bangs of his shaggy light hair are parted down the middle, and he has a dark mustache and beard. He is typically dressed in the standard Survey Corps uniform but also wears the signature cape during expeditions. He also does at times take more ‘direct’ actions for scenarios. Like for instance, when interrogating, bash someone’s head into the floor to get answers.
